BICTO’S 1ST STRATEGIC PLANNING ACTIVITY CONDUCTED

On September 14-18, 2021 at the Avior Hotel, General Santos City, the Bangsamoro Information and Communications Technology Office (BICTO) successfully conducted its first Strategic Planning Activity. The 4-day strategic planning activity was conducted to ensure the smooth operation of BICTO as a newly created office. It was actively participated by the BICTO Employees headed by Executive Director, Jonathan M. Mantikayan, PhD.IT. The activity was sponsored by the Asia Foundation, Australian Aid and USAID and was facilitated by Ms. Hyro Domado and Ms. Hannan M. Hashim. Mr. Cris B. Cayon, Chief of Party, FORWARD Bangsamoro Project and Ms. Noraida S. Chio, Senior Program Officer both of the Asia Foundation were also present and shared valuable inputs. Engineer Windel P. Diangcalan, Director III of OCM-TMS as our resource person, presented the OCM’s Vision, Mission, Goals and Objectives. He also discussed the importance of formulating Programs, Activities and Projects and emphasized that these should be anchored in the Bangsamoro Development Plan and 12-Point Priority Agenda of the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao. The aforementioned activity resulted to the development of BICTO’s Vision, Mission, Goals, Objectives, Core Values, Tag Line and the execution of long term (2021-2025) Programs, Activities, and Projects.VISIONBICTO is the leading agency in achieving digitally-transformed Bangsamoro that is adaptive to the advancement of technology.MISSIONBICTO is a prominent information and communications technology agency that commits to provide efficient, reliable, integrated and secured infrastructure, systems and solutions in BARMM.
