All Bangsamoro Information and Communications Technology Office (BICTO) staff are expected to perform “completed staff work” when carrying out official duties, such as preparing policy documents, invitation letters, and speeches. This approach aims to shield supervisors and signatories from incomplete ideas, lengthy memoranda, and unrefined oral presentations, while also relieving them of the responsibility of gathering relevant information and developing solutions.
BICTO conducted its Completed Staff Work Training last 27 February – 02 March 2023 at Greenleaf Hotel, General Santos City. BICTO sought the expertise of the training team coming from Development Academy of the Bangsamoro namely Hussien A. Abo, Sittie Saharah S. Mustapha and Datunot A. Akmad. The activity aims the following:
• to identify the concept of completed staff work;
• to prepare a completed staff work document;
• apply techniques in the preparation of completed staff work; and
• demonstrate research skills and analytical abilities.
The three-day training program allows the BICTO employees to find and address their weaknesses, helps them to be more all-rounded and better skilled at every factor of their job. Training also helps them to increase their confidence within their role.
At the end the training, each division of the BICTO was able to formulate and create a Completed Staff Work Document which will be presented to the Office of the Executive Director.
