A pivotal step towards advancing the technological landscape within the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM) was taken with the recent Digital Literacy Training on Firewall and Server Configuration. This training, spearheaded by the Bangsamoro Information Communication and Technology Office (BICTO), unfolded on August 14-15 in Cotabato City. The primary objective of the training was to equip IT Officers from various ministries, offices, and agencies across BARMM with the necessary skills in firewall and server configuration. This initiative is integral to the preparation of the Bangsamoro ICT Office Bangsamoro Intranet Project, aimed at fostering enhanced communication, collaboration, and information sharing among different departments and agencies within the region.
The training sessions were meticulously designed to provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of firewall and server configuration principles. These sessions aimed to empower IT Officers with the knowledge and hands-on experience required to contribute effectively to the implementation of the Intranet Project.
The training commenced with an introduction to the significance of firewall and server configuration in ensuring the security and optimal performance of digital networks. Mr. Roger Nuluddin from the MBHTE-TESD was welcomed as the distinguished expert and resource person for the training.
